Former UFC light-heavyweight and middleweight number one contender Chael Sonnen has allegedly failed another drug test. This time the drug test returned positives for human growth hormone (HGH), recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO).
Sonnen released the following statement to MMAFighting.com late on Saturday night
“Yes, the Commission is aware of other prescribed medications I was taking and I will not challenge their allegations. I will cooperate with the Commission and look forward to having a dialogue about how fighters who transition off TRT can avoid violating any rules.”
The UFC are expected to address the positive test at the UFC Fight Night: San Antonio Post-Fight Press Conference later tonight.
Isnt he retired, he can test positive for whatever the fuck he wants !
