The EFC 35 PPV also features two title fights in the top two divisions.
The first, for the vacant heavyweight title, will be contested between Brendon Groenewald and Christophe Walravens. Groenewald, a teammate of Queally’s opponent Kabulu, has won his last three bouts in a row after starting his career off with a 2-2 record. Walravens, on the other hand, has a record of 2-1 (1 no-contest) with both his wins and his sole loss coming by way of knockout in the first round.
The main event sees the second strap up for grabs as undefeated light heavyweight champion Gideon Drotschie puts his title on the line against the former heavyweight title holder Norman Wessels. Drotschie has had an ultra-impressive career to date with all five fights finishing inside the distance in his favour (3 via knockout, 2 via submission). While his opponent, Norman Wessels(5-2), has also never gone to a decision and will be looking to make it two wins in a row after beating Chris du Pont in under two minutes last time out.
The prelims kicks off at 2.50pm Irish time today followed by the PPV portion of the event at 5.50pm.
The rest of the card is available for $14.99 (main card only) or $24.99 (undercard and main card) on efcworldwide.tv
