  1. This is ridiculas. The first fight wasn’t even close. Nobody wants to see this again. Let him fight Edgar and give Diaz a title shot.

  2. This is a bloody disgrace. All for ego and money.
The fans would rather him vs RDA at lightweight or Aldo or Edgar at Featherweight.
The champion should not be allowed 2 fights in 6 months that aren’t for a belt or risking his own belt.

  3. First and foremost, I am a big Conor McGregor fan; I am also a big Nate Diaz fan. I thought the first fight was awesome.

All that said, Diaz vs McGregor 2 isn’t even the 3rd McGregor fight I’d want to see made… McGregor vs RDA is #1, vs Edgar is a close 2nd, McGregor vs Aldo 2 is 3rd. That said, I will most certainly watch Diaz vs McGregor 2; you’re lying (or you aren’t an mma fan) if you’re saying you won’t! Yeah, McGregor got submitted in the 2nd, but I could easily see the fight going in McGregor’s favor, with a full camp to acclimate to 170 lbs and get used to the weight. I imagine Conor feels the same, otherwise he wouldn’t agree to the fight at 170 lbs. He’s one of the most intelligent fighters in the game, so if anyone can make adjustments, it’s him.

Actually, after talking about it, I think I do want to see this fight, simply because I’m a big McGregor fan and I believe he can win with the proper training and game plan (specifically, not putting everything into his punches and having faith in his precision). That’s MY opinion/feeling on it. If you disagree, more power to you.
