It seems unlikely that McGregor will call it a day on his career with a big money rematch lined up for UFC 200 with Nate Diaz set for July.
It could a negotiation tactic or that he has set a time in the not too distant future for retirement or maybe he is just winding everyone up.
Update: Ariel Helwani is now reporting that sources are telling him that this retirement tweet is legitimate
