Great news for fans traveling to UFC Belfast this morning as the UFC have announced that Irish flyweight Neil Seery will take on Ian McCall in the Northern Irish capital.
Fighting out of Team Ryano in Dublin this will be Seery’s seventh UFC fight having gone 3-3 previously. The Dubliner has picked up wins over Jon Delos Reyes, Chris Beal and Phil Harris.
Long considered one of the best flyweights in the world, Ian McCall is probably Seery’s toughest task to date. The American has a draw with champion Demetrious Johnson on his record as well as wins over names like Brad Pickett and Jussier Formiga.
McCall is no stranger to Irish shores having fought at UFC Dublin in 2014 on a card which saw Neil Seery pick up his maiden UFC win.
UFC Belfast takes place at the SSE Hydro Arena on November 19th. Tickets go on sale this week.
