Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan announced this evening on his twitter that the promotion will make it’s long awaited return to Dublin, Ireland next year.
The event is set for 4th March 2017 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Boylan also hinted that the event would see an Irishman fighting for a Cage Warriors title or even two Irishmen fighting each other for a strap on the night, tweeting “Time to crown another Irish World Champ”.
The promotion has been instrumental in the building of Irish talent in the recent past, having had the likes of Conor McGregor, Cathal Pendred and Neil Seery as their champions before all three made their move to the UFC.
Other notable Irish names including Joe Duffy, Paul Redmond and Aisling Daly also had success in Cage Warriors before transitioning to the UFC.
No bouts have been announced for the card at this time.

Joe Duffy wasn’t a Cage Warriors champion before join the UFC
Thanks… My bad. Fixed. For some reason I thought he had the CW belt when he lost to Musardo but it was for the vacant title.
