Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson will rematch for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 209.
The news was confirmed by UFC president Dana White to MMA Junkie reporter John Morgan.

The pair first met at UFC 205 in New York last November in a back and forth fight which ended in a draw. Woodley almost had Thompson finished in the 4th period which saw him get a 10-8 round to cause a draw.
Since then Thompson has rallied for the rematch while Woodley has spoken about fights with Damien Maia and Michael Bisping but, in the end, will settle the score with “Wonderboy” first.
UFC 209 will take place in the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 4th.
