UFC president Dana White announced moments ago on ESPN’s SportsCentre that Georges St-Pierre will take on Michael Bisping for the UFC middleweight championship at a yet to be announced event.
GSP recently signed a new multi-fight contract with the promotion after an hiatus of over 3 years.
Georges St. Pierre last fought back at UFC 167 in November 2013 when he won a razor close decision over Johny Hendricks to extend his winning streak to 12 bouts.
Bisping is the current UFC middleweight champion after he knocked out Luke Rockhold to claim the strap and defeated Dan Henderson by decision to retain.
BREAKING: Georges St-Pierre's return fight in 2017 will be against Michael Bisping at TBD.
