Bellator MMA president Scott Coker joined Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour today and announced that Irishman James Gallagher will face Chinzo Machida on the undercard of the upcoming Bellator 180 PPV in Madison Square Garden.
Chinzo (5-2) is the older brother of former UFC champion Lyoto Machida and has won his last 4 bouts including finishes of Jamar Ocampo, Mario Navarro and Brian Wood.
Gallagher (6-0) has finished 5 of his 6 professional bouts with chokes and blitzed through Kirill Medvedovski in his last outing back in February 2017 at Bellator 173 in Belfast.
Bellator 180 will take place at Madison Square Garden, New York on 24th June 2017.
