Conor McGregor’s rift with the Nevada State Athletic Commission today seemingly came to an end after his hefty punishment for a can slinging back-and-forth with Nate Diaz was significantly reduced.
Initially, McGregor was fined $75,000 cash, told to produce an anti-bullying video for another $75,000 and given 50 hours of community service. That lead to the Dubliner refusing to fight in the state ever again.
Today, that punishment was pulled back as the commission announced a more manageable $25,000 fine and 25 hours of community service to be served in either Dublin or Las Vegas.

Currently, UFC lightweight champion McGregor is unmatched but talk of a cross-sport megafight with Floyd Mayweather has intensified in recent weeks. Now, with his Nevada strike likely over, it leaves McGregor free to apply for a license in the combat sport of his choosing.
