UFC President Dana White revealed to Kevin Iole of YahooSports today that UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes want to fight each other and that the UFC are planning to put the bout together next.
White also commented on the UFC lightweight title picture following Khabib’s dominant victory over Barboza last Saturday:
“As long as Conor is willing to fight by March, we could do Khabib versus Tony and then the winner fights Conor for the title,”
“Or if Conor doesn’t want to fight and wants to sit out until next fall, then we would have to make Khabib versus Tony for the title, not the interim title.”
