Leah McCourt has signed an exclusive six fight contract with Bellator which begins on February 22nd in Dublin.
Speaking to BBC Sport NI, she said “There are such a small pool of girls and the talent is quite high so every time you’re fighting really high level girls and they’re all from different backgrounds”.
The SBG Charlestown prospect is coming off her third win in a row after taking a loss on her professional debut.
McCourt returns to Dublin for the second time under the promotion’s newly formed ‘Euro Series’. Last February, she claimed a first round stoppage when she beat Hatice Özyurt in the 3 Arena.
