Yesterday the unfortunate news broke that Emil Piatek was ruled out of the main event slot on the upcoming Cage Legacy 13 card. The C-MAC MMA fighter was set to defend his lightweight title against Team Ryano’s Solomon Simon.
Speaking with SevereMMA, Cage Legacy Owner/Promoter Declan Kenna confirmed that Alexander O’Sullivan will step in for his teammate and fight Simon for the vacant lightweight title.
O’Sullivan recently fought in the IMMAF-WMMAA: Amateur World Championships in Bahrain last November. Simon is coming off a decision win over Jacoub Kassouri in a fight that was contested in October 2019. Both fighters will be making their third appearance for the Cage Legacy promotion. This will be a phenomenal fight and it is not to be missed.
