Former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Mads Burnell (13-3-0) has signed to fight withe the Bellator promotion according to Aaron Bronsteter from TSN Sports who reported the news on Tuesday per Burnell’s manager.
Burnell, who was born Husum, Denmark but is now fighting out of Arte Suave in Copenhagen. The 26 year old has had a previous stint in the UFC. A stint that only lasted 3 fights. He then moved over to the Cage Warriors ranks where he went 4-0 on his way to winning the featherweight world title. Burnell is a very worthy addition to an already talent rich 145 pound division.
