The highly anticipated fight between Gegard Mousasi and Douglas Lima went down on Thursday night at Bellator 250. The fight, which took place at the Mohegan Sun Arena, didn’t quite live up to the pre fight hype but was an intriguing contest overall.
The fight went all the way to the judges scorecards, Mousasi got the win by unanimous decision and regained the middleweight title. The Dutch fighter became a two time champion in the 185 pound division with his win over the welterweight champion, Douglas Lima.
Henry Corrales defeated Brandon Girtz in the co main event. The featherweights fought all the way to the judges scorecards with Corrales picking up the win. Earlier in the evening Jake Hager and Adam Borics were both victorious in their respective bouts.
Sabah Homasi pulled off a beautiful knockout victory in his welterweight encounter with Bobby Voelker.
