Ireland’s own Brian Moore will return to fight on home soil for the first time in over four years at Bellator 275 on February 25th. Sources have told SevereMMA that Moore will compete on the main card of Bellator’s Dublin event in a bantamweight fight against Jornel Lugo.
Moore’s last fight in Dublin was against current Bellator featherweight champion AJ McKee in arguably the toughest fight of the young phenom’s career to date. Moore went on to win 4 of his next 5 fights in the best run of his career before losing a decision to Nikita Mikhailov last time out.
Another though match-up awaits the Wexfordman on the last Friday in February with the undefeated Jornel Lugo as his opponent. The Florida trained fighter has won all 7 of his professional fights to date, 4 of which came inside the Bellator cage. Currently ranked #9 in the Bellator bantamweight rankings, Lugo has defeated Keith Lee and the #10 ranked Cass Bell in his last two outings.
Bellator 275 takes place at the 3Arena in Dublin on February 25th and will be headlined by the Bellator middleweight title fight between Gegard Mousasi and Austin Vanderford.
