UKMMA had one of it’s greatest nights in years this Saturday night as the UFC returned to London with a bang. Liverpool’s Paddy Pimblett stole the show on a night where nine bonuses were handed out as the former Cage Warriors champion submitted his fellow lightweight Rodrigo Vargas after being rocked in the early exchanges. Pimblett was given a massive build all week and lived up to the hype on the night.
In the main event, heavyweight Tom Aspinall made light work of Alexander Volkov to push himself up the rankings while Arnold Allen had arguably the performance of his career as he decimated former lightweight contender Dan Hooker inside of a round.
On the undercard, Muhammad Mokaev, the greatest amateur in the history of the sport, opened his UFC tenure with a quick finish while “Meatball” Molly McCann had a knockout of the year contender in her fight with Luana Carolina.
