The UFC is headed down under for this weekend’s UFC 284 PPV card, which will take place in Perth, Western Australia. The main event offers up a truly mouth-watering showdown between the no.1 and no.2 pound-for-pound fighters in the world, with Dagestan’s Islam Makhachev defending his lightweight title against Australian featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski. In the co-main event, Mexico’s Yair Rodriguez and American Josh Emmett will duel for the 145lbs interim belt, a title up for grabs due to Volkanovski vying for a second simultaneous championship in the weight class above.
