  1. I feel as if these articles are very biased towards arguing a title shot for McGregor, which is fine, I understand the guy who posts these is from Dublin. Also saying Edgar and Aldo wasn’t close, is a joke and even more biased. To each is his own, but Aldo would not have lasted another few rounds with Edgar, Aldo’s movement was fading at the end because of those leg kicks and he was slowing down more. Edgar has been evolving since that fight, not deteriorating and it showed. Aldo wasn’t dominating, he wasn’t pressing forward, he was just trying to outstrike Edgar in the end…..None of this matters because Conor is 2 fights away from fighting Edgar anyway even if he gets a title shot and wins.

  2. Edgar has lost to Aldo. McGregor hasn’t. Also lets be honest here, often the guy who a) makes a lot of noise and/or b) is best for PPV buys over credentials. UFC is a business, it’s not the NFL etc, they pick and make the fights that make business sense. That said, as pointed out above, McGregor has the longest winning streak in the division bar Aldo and, after he beats Dennis Siver, he will have won 5/5 in UFC.
