Eoghan had all of 3 points he wanted to make and just kept repeating them, Non of which were completely accurate. John came across well but i can’t help but feel these guys already have their minds made up and nothing he was going to say was taken on board.
On the plus side no one said ‘human cock fighting’ that’s progress, right!?!
Yeah I agree, he did come across well and looked frustrated at times, he seems to be a real gentleman.
The big problem with this interview is that it has the same problem as all or most of RTE sports programming, it is being presented by a predominantly misinformed group of older individuals that don’t represent either in voice or point of view the zeitgeist of the Irish sporting community and favour repetition of opinions rather than discussion and debate of facts.
I’m a massive rugby fan and to imply that no other sport steps up the entertainment factor on the elite level is a farce, in Murrayfield and Millenium stadium they have flametrhowers when international teams come out.
