UFC president Dana White yesterday confirmed that the Diaz vs Condit rematch had been agreed. But all day today rumours have been circulating that Nick Diaz is in trouble with the NSAC (commission).
Joe Rogan has added substance to the rumour on twitter by saying “unfortunately I don’t believe that fight is actually going to happen.” in reply to a request to be on a TV/online news show to discuss the rematch.
Nick Diaz has had trouble with commissions before with regard to marijuana. He even had a win against Takanori Gomi turned into a no contest.
Could this be another marijuana related problem? If it is then the question becomes why are the commission even testing for Marijuana? Nick lives in California, where medical marijuana is legal.
