Following yesterday’s Open Workouts, the UFC engaged in Media Day activities to further showcase UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm.
Dana White has recently stated that the PPV event at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia has accumulated $6 million at the gate alone, and a large percentage of those profits are down to the brilliant promotional campaigning.
Highlight footage from Media Day can be seen below which includes a preview of UFC 193: The Exchange – Ronda Rousey interview (the full video can be viewed on UFC Fight Pass now), as well as staredowns ahead of this evening’s weigh-ins.
Undefeated women’s bantamweight champion Rousey (12-0) will be looking to further her reign against undefeated challenger Holly Holm (9-0) this weekend. The strawweight title is also on the line as the co-main event which will see champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0) attempt to fend off challenger Valerie Letourneau (8-3).
UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm will air live on Saturday 14th November from 3am on BT Sport 2. Prelims will begin from 1am on BT Sport 2, whilst early prelims get underway from 12am midnight on UFC Fight Pass.
