It’s finally official. The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been sold to WME-IMG and MSD capital.
The news was first reported by Jeremy Botter for Flo Sports and today confirmed by Lorenzo Fertitta to CBS 8 news now’s Chris Maathuis in the states.

Maathuis reports that the sale is valued at $4 billion and will be for 100% of the company.
As previously reported Dana White will stay on working with the company from Las Vegas.

Zuffa LLC, the holding company of the Fertitta’s, bought the UFC for just $2 million in 2001, making it one of the best investments in sports’ history.
