Former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen revealed tonight to Associated Press that he has left the UFC and signed with Bellator MMA.
Bellator MMA and UFC officials have confirmed the story to MMAFighting.
Sonnen (29-14-1), now 39, is returning to the sport following a two year ban for failing multiple drug tests in 2014.

Sonnen lost out to Rashad Evans in his last out back in November 2013 at UFC 167 after he had pulled off arguably the best win of his career over Shogun Rua with a first round guillotine choke back in August 2013.
