The UFC confirmed tonight that Khabib Nurmagomedov will face Tony Ferguson for the interim UFC lightweight championship at UFC 209 in March.
The bout will serve as the co-main event of UFC 209 which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on 4th March 2017.
The main event will be a rematch between UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson after the two fought to a draw in a brilliant back and forth bout back at UFC 205 in November 2016.
Tickets go on sale on 20th January 2017 at 10 am PT (6pm GMT).
