The pair fought once before at UFC 187 with Cormier winning after an impressive start from Johnson.
The rematch was initially set for UFC 206 but Cormier was forced to pull out of that encounter due to an injury.
Cormier is current 18-1 and holds wins over the likes of Anderson Silva and Alexander Gustafsson while Johnson is 22-5 in his career but has only lost to Cormier in 13 fights since getting cut from the UFC as a perennial weight-missing welterweight.
UFC 210 takes place in Buffalo, New York on April 8th.
