Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting reported this evening that Artem Lobov will face Alex Caceres in a featherweight clash at UFC 223.
SBG Ireland’s Lobov (13-14-1, 1NC) is 2-2 in his last four fights and is coming off two decisions losses to Andre Fili and Cub Swanson after “The Russian Hammer” had defeated Teruto Ishihara and Chris Avila by decision.
Caceres (13-11, 1NC) lost out in his last outing to Guan Wang via split decision after TKOing Rolando Dy at the end of the second round back in June 2017.
MacLife.com first reported that the bout was in the works.
UFC 223 will take place on 7th April 2018 in Brooklyn, New York.
