A lightweight championship bout between Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett and Soren Bak has been announced for Cage Warriors 96, which takes place in Liverpool’s Echo Arena in September 1st.

Pimblett (14-2) is a former Cage Warriors champion. The Liverpudlian captured the vacant featherweight title with a win over Johnny Frachey, before defending the belt once, with a decision win over Julian Erosa. Following his defeat to Nad Narimani, “The Baddy” moved up to lightweight, where he scored a scintillating flying triangle win at Cage Warriors 90.
Bak (11-1) is currently riding a three fight win streak, all under the Cage Warriors banner. “The True Viking” suffered his only professional loss in 2016, before debuting with the promotion, and scoring impressive wins over Scott Clist, Martin Stapleton, and most recently Alexander Jacobsen
