Straight Blast Gym Ireland product Artem Lobov (4-6-0-1) is set to return to action at Cage Contender 17 in Newry, Northern Ireland against a yet to be named opponent
Lobov is coming off a highly controversial ‘No Contest’ at Celtic Gladiator against Artur Sowinski, a bout which was originally scored for Artem, however the promoter later changed the bout result to a ‘No Contest’.
Artem is known for his exciting stand up style and taking fights on short notice against top competition and holds notable victories over Dave Hill, Shay Walsh and Uche Ihiekwe.
The card will also feature a battle of top Irish bantamweights Alan “The Apprentice” Philpott and Damien “The Rage” Rooney as well as UFC veteran Andre Winner against a yet to be announced opponent.
